Art is only a means to life, to the life more abundant. It is not in itself the life more abundant. It merely points the way, something which is overlooked not only by the public, but very often by the artist himself. In becoming an end it defeats itself. – Henry Miller

The Journey

The Journey by Mary Oliver

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice–
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do–
determined to save
the only life you could save.

A spotlight on Para-Dreaming book from Book Viral — http://bookviral.com/para-dreaming/4587451137

“We search out experts to explain our experiences and are left with more questions than answers. Perhaps you too have been left with questions?

Our dreams are perhaps one of the biggest mysteries. While science has taken us great strides through many ‘unsolved’ mysteries of the human psyche, there remains much to be learned. Meredith Lugiai has spent the past twenty years researching dreams from various standpoints to include the philosophies of Jung and Freud. Meredith’s discoveries, through her own experiences and those of others, have led her down a road yet to be paved into the wild nature of our dreams. In fact, Meredith is the first researcher to introduce the name of this new concept of dreaming.Para-dreaming.

Crammed full of insightful and interesting theories that will engender much reflection, Para-Dreaming makes a welcome change to the complex and often contrary texts that have dominated the interpretation of dreams over many decades. Undeniably, the influences of Jung and Freud are present, but Lugiai is a far more accessible writer and has the ability to communicate her thoughts, experiences and observations in a way that makes them much easier to dwell upon.

With clear and concise explanations throughout, she leads her reader on a journey of discovery that travels beyond the conscious mind to explore higher dimensions and the influence dreams come to exert on our waking hours. It makes for a fascinating read and is a credit to Lugiai as an inspiring educator willing to go beyond the confines of popular dream psychology. Taking the often incomprehensible dream state and proffering a perspective that adds both spiritual depth and meaning.

There will of course be detractors of her work but for those with an open mind, Para-Dreaming is a treasure to be discovered and receives an enthusiastic recommendation.”

“My Silver Lining”

lost-in-the-clouds

“My Silver Lining” song / lyrics by First Aid Kit

I don’t want to wait anymore I’m tired of looking for answers
Take me some place where there’s music and there’s laughter
I don’t know if I’m scared of dying but I’m scared of living too fast, too slow
Regret, remorse, hold on, oh no I’ve got to go
There’s no starting over, no new beginnings, time races on
And you’ve just gotta keep on keeping on
Gotta keep on going, looking straight out on the road
Can’t worry ’bout what’s behind you or what’s coming for you further up the road
I try not to hold on to what is gone, I try to do right what is wrong
I try to keep on keeping on
Yeah I just keep on keeping on

I hear a voice calling
Calling out for me
These shackles I’ve made in an attempt to be free
Be it for reason, be it for love
I won’t take the easy road

I’ve woken up in a hotel room, my worries as big as the moon
Having no idea who or what or where I am
Something good comes with the bad
A song’s never just sad
There’s hope, there’s a silver lining
Show me my silver lining
Show me my silver lining

I hear a voice calling
Calling out for me
These shackles I’ve made in an attempt to be free
Be it for reason, be it for love
I won’t take the easy road

I won’t take the easy road
The easy road, the easy road

Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on
Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on
Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on
Show me my silver lining, I try to keep on keeping on

The Wild Iris

Johann_Heinrich_Füssli_-_The_Shepherd's_Dream_-_WGA8335
Louise Gluck – The Wild Iris
At the end of my suffering
there was a door.

Hear me out: that which you call death
I remember.

Overhead, noises, branches of the pine shifting.
Then nothing. The weak sun
flickered over the dry surface.

It is terrible to survive
as consciousness
buried in the dark earth.

Then it was over: that which you fear, being
a soul and unable
to speak, ending abruptly, the stiff earth
bending a little. And what I took to be
birds darting in low shrubs.

You who do not remember
passage from the other world
I tell you I could speak again: whatever
returns from oblivion returns
to find a voice:

from the center of my life came
a great fountain, deep blue
shadows on azure seawater.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
United Kingdom / United States – Meredith Lugiai’s skills as a dream intuitive and dream guide are unique to say the least. She has spent the past two-decades studying the dreams of thousands of people and, having become acutely aware of science’s inability to answer even the most basic of questions, has uncovered a ground-breaking new concept now being made public for the first time.
‘Para-Dreaming: An Otherworldly Window into Paranormal Dreaming’ goes beyond traditional psychology into a world that has previously been unexplainable.

Synopsis:
Our dreams are perhaps one of the biggest mysteries. While science has taken us great strides through many ‘unsolved’ mysteries of the human psyche, there remains much to be learned.

Meredith Lugiai has spent the past twenty years researching dreams from various standpoints to include the philosophies of Jung and Freud. Meredith’s discoveries, through her own experiences and those of others, have led her down a road yet to be paved into the wild nature of our dreams. In fact, Meredith is the first researcher to introduce the name of this new concept of dreaming….Para-dreaming.

So what is the definition of ‘para-dreaming’? The root word ‘para’, derived from the Greek language meaning ‘near, alongside, beyond, beside and abnormal’. In other words, para-dreaming is dreaming in the beyond or paranormal dreaming. Many of us have had dreams that have yet to be explained through the mainstream concept of dreaming. We search out experts to explain our experiences and are left with more questions than answers. Perhaps you too have been left with questions.

Questions like:  Why do I experience meeting beings that appear to be very real and convey concepts yet undiscovered?  How can I explain dreaming about an event before it actually happens?  Why do I dream about people that I’ve never met who still seem familiar to me in my dream?  I’ve heard our souls travel when we are dreaming, but where are they going and what are they doing?

These questions are only a sample of the questions Meredith answers in her upcoming book, Para- Dreaming: An otherworldly Window into Paranormal Dreaming. In her previous book: DreamWorkers Behind the Veil: Nightshift Dreams, Meredith provides a glimpse into the other dimensions our souls travel within while our bodies sleep. Through her research she has made discoveries of what our souls are up to and why.

“Everyone knows that dreams are powerful. They can predict the future, provide fresh perspective on existing events and even make life-changing decisions. The issue is that most people don’t understand why this is the case, with existing science and psychology confusing matters,” explains Lugiai.
Continuing, “To get answers, we must look beyond the normal, to the paranormal. When we enter that realm, it’s amazing what we can actually discover. In fact, when you understand the concept of para- dreaming, there’s very little you won’t understand!”
The author sees wide application for her book.

“We all dream, creating a huge market for my work. Confused individuals will be able to shed light onto their own dream experiences by reading the book, while science, psychology and medical professionals will benefit from new insight that can assist their research and clients. This is an all-encompassing text, and it is powerful stuff,” she adds.

What is Para-Dreaming all about…. a look inside my new book:

Dream with a unique perception: Moving past the analytical ideas of dreaming – the idea that all dreams are the projections of different aspects ourselves, mental venting or imaginative creations. Many of our nightly dreams are interactive astral encounters with those we know (living and deceased) and other worldly beings from the 5th to 12th dimensional realms and between and beyond. How does this affect our waking life? Have you ever thought to question your encounters and connections in waking life? What place do the people we love AND hate have in our dreamtime in addition to our past, present, and future soulful lives? If you can recall your dreams, the answers are all hidden in the picturesque settings like a ‘Where’s Waldo’ scene. You will begin to look at these dream encounters, dream travels, and dream messages as they relate to your life (health, love life, family, friends, and work) past, present, and future. Our night time travels have the power to reveal wonderfully good news and surprisingly negative bursts of unwanted energies. It is all about how you identify, receive these messages, and decide to bring the information back into waking.

Dream Incubation, Dream Sharing, Dream Recall, and Identifying Types of Dreams: I discuss an overview of dreaming and different types of dreams. Tips on clearing your energetic field / space to prevent lower vibrational beings from attaching to you in your dreams and bringing their energies back with you into waking. I share dreams with you so you can practice dream interpretation on your own dreams and those of other dreamers.

Meeting Dream Guides: I will explore different types of dream guides; how to identify them, how they relate to you, how to communicate, listen, and receive their messages (using sixth sense abilities), and when to bring certain guides / messages back into waking with you.

Dimensional Realms and Astral Traveling: I will be sharing with you my findings and understandings of astral traveling and the many dimensional realms. I provide you with exercises and tools to learn how to identify where you travel to within your dreams.

Dreamwalking: Awakening to the reality of your dream journeys. Practice exercises on communication, interaction, and healing with others in your dreams, while discovering that these dreamwalking exercises are actually a part of our natural dreamtime behaviors we all experience most nights.
